CBS Austin – Video captures Waymo driving in wrong lane near MLK and I-35

AUSTIN, Texas — A Waymo was seen driving in the wrong lane on MLK Boulevard near I-35 and UT campus Wednesday night.
Video captured by a viewer shows the Waymo vehicle stopped in the wrong lane at a red light at the intersection of MLK and I-35.
The viewer who filmed the video said that the Waymo passed cars by driving in the left lane and stopped because the traffic light was red.
The Waymo vehicle returned to the correct lane once the light turned green.
CBS Austin has reached out to Waymo for a statement on the incident.
